What would you do if in the morning when you awoke there was no electricity, if in the morning electricity as we know it no longer existed, what would you do then? There would be no lights, radios, televisions, computers, or telephones. Gas pumps, elevators, cooking stoves, nor vending machines would operate, what would you do then?

How would you survive, how would you eat in a world without electricity? What would you change about yourself to exist in a world without electricity? Would you change to exist in a world without electricity?

We use electricity as if it were a given, as if it were an unlimited resource to be used and disposed of at our every whim, with no regard to the consequences of our use and abuse of this resource. We have become slaves to the coal fired and nuclear powered electricity plants, contributing to the environmental catastrophes we are experiencing all over the world today.

To make matters worse we now are obsessed with lights, it’s like we are afraid of the dark. The image below is the earth at night. click it to take you to the owners site and for a larger view.

Of all the terrible things we do to mother earth this has to be one of the worst. It is not natural to light up the night.
