Simple Living Lessons Learned
Simple Living is something I grew up with, it was not a lifestyle choice, it was my life. I often reflect on the lessons taught to me by my parents. They are what guides me and helps me make the right decisions. As we struggle with our troubled economic woes in this country, and elsewhere in the world I am reminded of a lesson I learned from my father when I was a teenager in the seventies. Simple Living – Reduce eating out
I no longer find comfort in eating foods prepared by a minimum wage employee using mass-produced, chemically grown foods from a corporate farm raised by minimum wage employees. This includes fruits, vegetables, and meats injected with hormones and antibiotics and raised in deplorable, overcrowded, inhumane conditions. [Read more →]

Not only is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle an important component for simple living it is an important component for living lightly on the earth. It brings a sense of accomplishment and well-being, that with this simple concept we can lessen our impact on mother earth. Don’t Buy It, Change The Economy, Put Your Rebate To Work!
I know there are many of us looking forward to the rebate checks the government is sending out soon. Lord knows there are lots of folks that can use it. However, there’s something wrong with this picture. The government wants us to use those checks to buy more stuff.
