As I was enjoying my morning coffee, listening to the birds, chickens, and the creek as it tumbled across the rocks I began to feel a bit poetic. Susan and Tony suggested that I post it so here it is. I hope you enjoy it.

Simple living, Living Free

Simple Living is learning to live with less
Learning that simple things really are the best.
Listening to the birds sing and the roosters crow
Is sweeter music than what I hear on the radio.

Simple living is sitting on the creek bank watching the water go by
Or getting up early and watching the sun as she rises in the sky
Growing a garden and watching the plants grow
Is more entertaining than any television show.

Hiking in the woods where nature abounds
Captivated by her many sights and sounds.
The birds, the bugs, the rocks, the water, the trees,
Simple living, Living Free
