Well, I just retired from the Air Force. For the first time I can do what I want with my hair without breaking military rules. Needless to say I took out my hairclippers and with a 1/2" gaurd shaved my head. I feel so free. Plus no more styling products or shampoo. I will probably out grow this phase, but right now I love it regardless of how Un-fem it may be to the general public. It is liberating in so many ways:) It has made me think a lot about society and pressures women must bear to be beautiful from shaved armpits, legs, etc..bras, plucking, make-up, when did we become so removed from nature and so "nature-ly ugly"?
